Brett Andriesen is the Interoperability Standards Advisory (ISA) lead at ONC, within the Office of Technology’s Standards Division. In that role, he manages all aspects of the ISA, including annual process, comment review, web development work, and annual ISA publication. In addition to his work on the ISA, Brett also supports the USCDI, SVAP, situational awareness projects related to HIT and HIE standards, and advancing referral exchange through the 360X project. Brett previously served as a project officer for the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreement Program at ONC, working with states to build health information exchange capacity. Prior to joining ONC, Brett served as a contractor to ONC at A+ Government Solutions, providing analyst support for ONC’s State HIE program, the Standards and Interoperability Framework, Direct Project workgroups, and ONC Annual Meetings. Before his work with ONC at A+, Brett was a Manager of Online & Member Services at eHealth Initiative, working with stakeholders in support of health IT and HIE projects.  Brett has a B.S. in Community Health from Western Washington University and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
